It’s time to check in with some new stuff from around baseball…

Brian Schneider recently started wearing a new Max MVP PE.  It looks like these have white patent accents on the upper (and grey patent on the away PE at upper right), orange MCS outsoles, and blue Air units.  I’ll work on finding some views of these without all of the catchers gear in the way, but these look impressive so far.

Jimmy Rollins wore a new pair today with the alternate uni (thanks to Alex T. for pointing these out)… can anybody identify these?  He typically only wears blue accents with the alternates, so he’ll likely wear them again on Sunday… keep your eyes open.

EDIT: I caught a replay of the Phillies-Marlins game and Rollins’ cleats turned out to be the Swingman Remix.  All red upper with a light colored swoosh… I’ll try to get a screen grab.

The Easton Mojo PE above (inset) is being worn by young Rays shortstop Ben Zobrist.  A lot of the Rays players are starting to embrace light blue as an accent color in their cleats and other gear, and Easton did a great job with this Tampa colorway.

I’ve previously referenced Torii Hunter’s Swingman Remix cleats, but here’s a better view of them.  The red laces, swoosh, and midsole accents are all nice touches.

Troy Tulowitzki has previously only worn black Clippers in his career, so it was surprising to see him break out these white-heavy Fuse cleats earlier in the week.

And finally, “Manny being Martin” continues… I thought Manny would just wear Russell Martin’s home kicks until he got his own blue PE, but he’s started to wear Martin’s away cleats as well.
