I'm biased because I like rocking basketball shoes with jeans, and you definitely couldn't do that with the ZL V's..... I know this site doesn't care about that though, but I think these will perform, and they could have some interesting colorblocking options. Could you do some renderings Mark? Like you said, Mark, the simplicity is disappointing. One thing I've generally loved about the LeBron shoes is that they usually have some cool toe details (something that makes or breaks a design in my mind). These are very blah in that department, not very inspiring or exciting. The rest of the shoe is respectable, but again, it's that toe piece that's buggin' me. The redeeming qualities (in my mind) are the reflective lasering (I love good reflective work) and the heel/collar of the shoe. Bottom line: Coulda been better. I think they’re OK.
