LenDale White broke out this new Nike model in Titans camp yesterday… At first I thought that they might be an unreleased model (a la Shawne Merriman and Stephen Jackson in ‘07), but as reader jb pointed out, they’re the Nike Throw Back, a Dick’s Sporting Goods exclusive. LenDale’s custom pair above has Titans colors, a different midsole (the GR version has the Huarache midsole), and a TD outsole.

Adrian Peterson’s cleats in the above photo are the first Nike Super Speed PE I’ve seen in camps so far. With a purple / chrome gradient on the outsole and purple and white upper accents, these are looking pretty crazy. I’m looking forward to seeing better shots of these…

The cleats pictured here on Fred Smoot aren’t PE’s, and they actually aren’t even football cleats. Smoot is wearing Mercurial Talaria IV’s, a soccer cleat (pictured here). Another Redskins player (who I couldn’t identify) was wearing these in camp yesterday too, and they both had the black spat jobs going on… I hope they keep it up in the regular season.

As a Skins fan and a shoe head, it looked to me that Sean Taylor started the whole thing by wearing Zoom Total 90 IIIs two seasons ago, with Carlos Rogers and Smooth following suit and wearing Ronaldinho’s signature Nikes last season in red.
